There is a small library of books and a tape collection covering most popular music genres. If you prefer CDs you may bring your own favourites.

The cottage has a regularly tuned piano with good tone and action which is available for pianists or music students. Please specify at time of booking if you require access for it will be left open for your enjoyment. Some sheet music is provided but bring your favourite pieces!

In summer enjoy the unique and unrivalled pleasure of an outdoor bush shower. Privately situated on the side of the garden shed there is a wonderful view of the creek and the willows. The water is heated by the sun in a header tank on the shed roof and by 4pm on a hot summer’s day you will have a beautifully refreshing warm shower. At night you can shower by candle light with the wondrous vision of the everlasting stars above.

Moore House is pet friendly. House trained dogs are most welcome but we request that they don’t sit or sleep on the furniture and that all evidence of their stay is cleaned up in the garden before your departure. There is an open slatted gate on the laundry area where dogs can sleep and not feel too excluded.

You only need to bring their bedding. The back verandah has a barrier where dogs can be left but the deck needs to be cleaned afterwards if necessary. The garden is fenced only with electrified paddock fences which are hot. Dogs normally only touch them once and then don’t try again. We also request that dogs don’t chase or annoy cattle or horses in the adjoining paddocks.
